Our Purpose
Our purpose at Support U.S. Armed Forces, Inc. is to support and encourage those who are fighting for our freedom. We aim to provide a link from the public to every branch of service to raise moral, to encourage, and to show our support.

We are doing this by providing the following programs:

  1. Welcome Home Packages: The Welcome Home Packages are designed to be given to military personnel when they return from oversees. Most of these warriors have been traveling many hours to get back to their bases. We provide them with welcome home letters and a package of over 23 items including snacks, drinks, toiletries, etc. This allows our soldiers to have a fresh shower, have some snacks, and get a fresh start without having to dig through sandy bags. It also gives our troops praise for a job well done. The troops just love these!

  2. Deployed Family Assistance Packages: The Deployed Family Assistance Package is designed to relieve some of the financial burden placed on the families of deployed soldiers. While the soldiers are put in harm's way, the families at home are making huge sacrifices as well. The Deployed Family Assistance Package is designed to help lift the financial burden on these military families by providing them with over 33 everyday essentials that a family needs to survive. Additionally, we also include letters of encouragement from you to let our soldiers families know that their sacrifices are appreciated and have not gone unnoticed. Not only do our active duty soldiers appreciate this gesture, but it allows them to focus on the job at hand by easing some of the financial burden.

  3. Support for General H. Hugh Shelton's Leadership Center: General Hugh Shelton is a decorated Military Hero who has served our country for 38 years. He served from 1997-2001 as the 14th Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and was bestowed the Congressional Gold Medal in 2002 for his exemplary service to this country. Since leaving the Military, he has started the Shelton's Leadership Center which supports our military in every branch of the Armed Forces. Through General Shelton's connections at the highest levels of our military, they are able to identify where support and encouragement are needed the most. By partnering with General Shelton's organization, we reach into every branch of the service to provide support and timely assistance.

  4. Project New Hope: Project New Hope was founded to give emotional and financial support to combat veterans and their families because wartime doesn't end when the soldier comes home. The dramatic and subtle psychological effects of war can impact the entire life of a soldier and their families. Healing and understanding is vital to a soldier transitioning from the war front to the home front. Project New Hope addresses this by providing weekend retreats that allow families to reconnect by getting away to the outdoors. Hunting, fishing, canoeing, hiking, and camping with the family, along with professional counselors provide a way of transition from war footing, to civilian home life.

  5. Meet & Greet: We will provide donors opportunities to meet the soldiers and their families at various events like behind-the-screens access, 5K runs, bowl-a-thons, concerts, etc. This will allow you to say 'Thank You' in person as well as supporting our military in the most needed programs above.
